I Help Women In Medicine Create A Life They Actually Enjoy Living

Hi! I'm Trina.
I'm a practicing physician and a certified life coach. I'm also a wife and mother, so I know what it's like to be busy and feel overwhelmed.
I also know what it's like to sacrifice so many years in order to pursue medicine. You think that once you're finally "there" - when all the training is over and you're getting a real paycheck - then you'll be happy.
You dive into your practice, but at some point you start realizing medicine isn't at all what was promised. But you've already dedicated so many years of your life to your career that you feel stuck with no end in sight.
I get it, because I've been there too. I was also burned out and unfulfilled.
Until I found coaching.
Life Coaching Changes Everything
What if you genuinely felt happy with your life?
What if you could wake up in the morning and not dread going to work?
What if you could learn how to set boundaries and say "no" more often?
What if you didn't have to numb yourself with food and other distractions just to make it through the day?
What if you could finally escape from the endless cycle of feeling overwhelmed and exhausted?
What if you could enjoy practicing medicine again?
What if you were no longer scared to leave medicine and pursue the second career you've been dreaming of?
What if you felt like you were living your purpose each and every day?
Coaching Makes All Of This Possible
What Is Coaching?
As a life coach, I help you:
Create the life you want to be living
Gain clarity around what you want more of in your life, and what you want less of.
Figure out how to get out of the whirlwind that is your current life, so you can create a life where you don't always feel overwhelmed and exhausted.
Set goals, and I challenge you to stay accountable.
Move forward so you can have the life you want.
Ultimately, I want you to live your best life NOW, instead of pushing it off for one day in the future.
You already give so much to your job, your patients, and your family. Why not hire a coach so you can do something that's just for you?
How Do I Know If Coaching Is Right For Me?
My belief is every woman in medicine should have a life coach. Life coaching is not the same as therapy. Therapists diagnose and treat specific mental health conditions, past trauma, and emotional or psychological challenges. Life coaches focus on the present and the future. They help you improve your life, feel better, and achieve your goals. Even if you are seeing a therapist, life coaching can still help.
For example, think about the difference between a physical therapist and a personal trainer. Both focus on the body. However, the physical therapist (much like a therapist) focuses on recovery from a painful event. The personal trainer, on the other hand, takes your already functional body and maximizes its potential.

I know coaching saves lives because it saved mine. Because of coaching, I chose to get the help I needed to overcome an eating disorder; improve my mental health; become a more present mom who actually enjoys spending time with my kids; fall back in love with being a doctor; work in our broken medical system without letting it break me; take time for myself and my needs without guilt; create a life I actually enjoy.
When I say coaching saves lives, it's not just a catchy phrase. I 100% believe it because I have seen the immeasurable impact coaching has had on my life and the lives of the women I coach.
